Hi! My name is Greg Cuellar.  I am a product designer in San Francisco with over 10 years of design experience.  I specialize in creating useful and usable cross-screen products.  I've shipped products for mobile, tablet, web, and TV.

I work at Stride Health, a company that helps self-employed workers get the same kind of benefits that employees of big companies get.  I mostly work on a mobile app called Stride Drive that helps self-employed workers track their deductible miles and expenses.  Most recently, I was Design Director at Samba TV, a TV research and analytics company. There, I led all design efforts for consumer and enterprise products across multiple platforms, along with communication design and overall company branding.  Previously, I worked as a product designer at Luvocracy, a social shopping startup acquired by Walmart Labs. Before that, I worked at Palm and Nokia designing interfaces for products like the HP Touchpad and Nokia N9. I spend most of my time developing user flows, creating wireframes, and designing information architecture.

I received my bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stanford University with a minor in psychology. I also received a master’s degree from Stanford’s communication department, studying human-computer interaction.

During my master’s program, I performed research in the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab under the direction of Dr. BJ Fogg. My research was on the effectiveness of mobile devices to change people's behavior.
